Hot for the Holidays!!

This is my post where I am going to keep track of my weekly workouts and weight loss for the Hot for the Holidays challenge that takes place from September 8 through December 5.

Week 3:

Monday: 30 minutes elliptical, 20 minutes bike, 25 minutes leg/ab weights.

Tuesday: 30 minutes elliptical, 15 minutes arc trainer, 30 minutes arm/ab weights.

Wednesday: 30 minutes elliptical, 27 MINUTES ARC TRAINER!, 30 minutes leg/ab weights.

Thursday: 30 minutes elliptical, 15 minutes arc trainer, 10 minutes arm/ab weights. No, I didn’t wuss out, I had a dentist appointment!

Friday: 30 minutes elliptical, 20 minutes arc trainer, 30 minutes leg/ab weights.

Week 2:

Monday: 30 minutes elliptical, 20 minutes bike, 30 minutes arm/ab weights.

Tuesday: 25 minutes elliptical, 20 minutes bike, 20 minutes leg/ab weights.

Wednesday: 30 minutes elliptical, 15 minutes on some horrid machine. Utter brutalness. 30 minutes arm/ab weights. **UPDATE** I have since found out this machine is called an arc trainer. Anyone else use it?

Thursday: 30 minutes elliptical, 20 minutes bike, 20 minutes leg/ab weights.

Friday: 30 minutes elliptical, 15 minutes “the killer” arc trainer, 30 minutes arm/ab weights.

Week 1:

Monday: 20 minutes walking/jogging on the track, 15 minutes on elliptical, 25 minutes doing leg/ab weights.

Tuesday: 30 minutes elliptical, 10 minutes walking/jogging track, 25 minutes arms/ab weights.

Wednesday: 30 minutes elliptical, 15 minutes bike, 30 minutes leg/ab weights.

Thursday: 30 minutes elliptical, 15 minutes bike, 30 minutes arm/ab weights.

Friday: 30 minutes elliptical, 15 minutes bike, 20 minutes leg/ab weights.

    Sounds like you ae doing better then me. I can’t even seem to post the link for “Hot for the Holidays.” The picture comes up, but that is it. I need to get motivated, since my trip I have been in a real slump. I am all joined up at the gym, but still have not been. The weather is bad so I can’t walk. I hope next week is better.

    James is still in Houston. They cancelled the rest of the meetings this morning and James has been sitting at the airport trying to get on a flight out. He said that the airlines overbooked all of the flights out. He was confirmed a seat for the next flight to Denver, but could still get bumped. If that happens, then he is going to rent a car and drive.

    20 minutes chasing anthony down the hall
    15 minutes running to giant for cookies during art class
    20 minutes to get them through the lunch line
    15 minutes walking them around the school looking for the damn gingerbread man
    20 minutes to eat on the fly
    25 minutes helping kids off the monkey bars..
    15 minutes walking them around the fourth grade hallway looking for that damn gingerbread man
    20 minutes walking the kids out after school and chatting with moms…

    I took a day off yesterday from exercise and had some decadent food at the Texas Roadhouse. I was able to doggie bag half of it, so I don’t feel too guilty. It keeps me from going insane. Back to the healthy life today. You’re really on a roll Melissa…good for you!

    okay, so today, duplicate my list from yesterday, and ADD on –that I taught a class at the university from 5:00 until 8:30. Who signed me up for that crap??? WHO???

    Congrats Lissa! You are doing awesome. I wish I was excercising as much as you. Don’t get discouraged about the number on the scale. How your clothes are fitting is the true testimate. And remember, all that excercising, you are firming up. Keep up the hard work!!!
