I had a wonderful, relaxed weekend filled with some of my favorite people! The twins, Ave, and I headed out-of-town on Friday after school. I had big plans of watching the kids swim, reading, and lounging, but ended up having visitors while the kids were frolicing in the pool. First my mom dropped in, then my dad, and then Cyndee called and said her and Al and my former stepmom, Becki, were just across the street and would stop by. It was great to catch up with Becki, I hadn’t seen her in probably a decade! She is also in the oilfield industry and had just moved back, but gave me the name of her former employer for Justin to contact.
My husband emailed the CEO of the company right away this morning with his resume, and had a response not even 20 minutes later! He said they were going to be setting up an office in Colorado and had plans to hire in mid-May. They are at a conferece right now, but he would get ahold of Justin when they return.
COLORADO!!! Woo-hoo! I know I shouldn’t get my hopes up yet, but -too late!
