I saw this over on Britt’s blog tonight and had to get in on it. So fun! I guess I should also mention that I spent a lot of my life living in other states over the years… Montana, Utah, Idaho, Colorado… so I’m a bit of a mutt.

    You are so cute! I have never heard of tenny runners. I may do this, although here on the Eastern Shore I am not sure we have an accent. :)

    I’m not exactly sure how I found your blog, but maybe from Mel? Anyways, I’ve had lots of fun listening to everybody’s accents. I’ve never done a vlog before, but this idea was too cute to pass up! How fun!! Oh ya, I’ve never heard of tennie runners before!!

    This is an interesting little “experiment.” After listening to yours, I think I can fairly safely say, “DITTO. Just go listen to Lissa’s vlog!” Seems our close proximity means we grew up hearing things called pretty much exactly the same thing.

    Except the gym shoes one ~ western Canucks call those runners. Oh, and I, myself, call it a sun-shower when it’s raining but the sun is shining. I don’t know that that’s the official term around here, but that’s what I call it!! I guess there’s a few differences after all…. most people up here put the accent on the final syllable in New Orleans and on the first in Pecan, but I say them the same way you do. (‘Cuz I’m cool like that!)
